How do I back up my notes?
Open Notes, copy the body of each note, and save them in a place you control. We'll add an export-all feature soon.
How is this different from Notion, Todoist, or cloud notes apps?

The trade-off is honest — no cross-device sync, no team features, no built-in backup. The upside: no signup, no subscription, no log entry tied to your account, and instant load times. Great when privacy and friction matter more than sync.
Are my files uploaded anywhere?
No. Every SnapToolz tool runs entirely in your browser using JavaScript and WebAssembly. Files are read locally, processed in memory, and the result is offered as a download. There is no backend.
Is everything free?
Yes — every tool in this category and on the entire site is free with no sign-up, no daily limit, and no watermark.
