About Rotate PDF
Rotate PDF pages 90°, 180° or 270° — page by page or the whole document in one click. Useful when a scanner produces sideways pages, when a phone-scan camera was held in landscape, or when you exported a slide deck that came out rotated. SnapToolz applies a true rotation flag inside the PDF's page dictionary rather than re-rendering, so text stays selectable, vector content stays sharp, and the file size barely changes. Everything runs locally in your browser — your PDF is never uploaded, even for documents that contain confidential scans.

Are my files uploaded to a server?
No. Every tool on SnapToolz runs entirely inside your browser using JavaScript and WebAssembly. Your file is read locally, processed in memory, and the result is offered as a download. Nothing is sent to a server — there isn't one to send to.
Will the rotation flatten my text or images?
No. SnapToolz writes a rotation flag (the /Rotate key in each page dictionary) — the underlying content streams are untouched. Text stays selectable, vector graphics stay sharp, and embedded images keep their original quality.
Can I rotate just one page in a multi-page PDF?
Yes — use the page picker to select any individual page, then apply the rotation. Each page can have its own rotation; you can mix portrait and landscape in the same file.
What's the difference between rotating here and rotating in a PDF viewer?
Most viewers (Chrome, Preview, Adobe Reader) let you rotate for viewing only — the rotation isn't saved into the file. SnapToolz writes the rotation into the PDF itself so it sticks across every device and viewer.
Does it work offline?
Yes. SnapToolz is a Progressive Web App. After your first visit, the app is cached on your device and every tool keeps working without an internet connection.
Is SnapToolz free?
Yes — every tool is 100% free with no sign-up, no watermark, no hidden tier. The whole platform is open source and we have no plan to gate features.
