About Organize PDF
Reorder, rotate, and delete pages in a PDF with a thumbnail-driven UI — like Acrobat's page panel, but free and entirely in your browser. Drop a PDF, see every page as a thumbnail, drag tiles to reorder, click to rotate, click X to remove. When you're done, hit Save and SnapToolz rebuilds the document with the new layout. Pages, annotations, bookmarks, and metadata are preserved. The same pdf-lib engine that powers our merge and split tools handles the rebuild, so the output is a clean, standards-compliant PDF that opens in any viewer.

Are my files uploaded to a server?
No. Every tool on SnapToolz runs entirely inside your browser using JavaScript and WebAssembly. Your file is read locally, processed in memory, and the result is offered as a download. Nothing is sent to a server — there isn't one to send to.
Will my bookmarks and annotations survive reordering?
Page-level annotations move with their page. Document-level bookmarks that point to specific pages stay valid — the link targets are remapped to the new positions. Outline structure is preserved.
How is this different from Split and Merge?
Split and Merge work on file-level operations — break a PDF apart or combine several PDFs. Organize works inside a single PDF on per-page operations. For workflows that need both (rearrange pages within a file, then combine with another file), do Organize first, then Merge.
Is there an undo?
Yes — Cmd/Ctrl-Z undoes the last reorder, rotate or delete. Nothing is saved until you click Save, so you can also just close the tab to discard all changes.
Does it work offline?
Yes. SnapToolz is a Progressive Web App. After your first visit, the app is cached on your device and every tool keeps working without an internet connection.
Is SnapToolz free?
Yes — every tool is 100% free with no sign-up, no watermark, no hidden tier. The whole platform is open source and we have no plan to gate features.
