• What about transparency?

  JPG doesn't support transparency, so transparent PNGs get flattened onto a background color. White by default; you can change it.

• Will the JPG be smaller than the PNG?

  Almost always yes for photographs. For screenshots and graphics with few colors, sometimes the PNG is already smaller — the tool will show you the size comparison.

• Is the output quality the same as the source?

  JPG is lossy, but at 85-90% quality the visual difference is imperceptible for almost all images. Use 100% for archival use.

• Can I do bulk conversion?
