  JPGs are 5-10× smaller than PNGs of the same image and look identical for photographic content. If you need transparency or pixel-perfect rendering, use the PNG output option instead.

• Can I extract just one page?

  Yes — the page picker lets you pick any single page or range. Useful for grabbing one chart out of a long report.

• Will the text in the JPG still be searchable?

  No, JPGs are pixel data — text becomes ungraphable. If you need searchable text, use OCR on the JPG or stick with the PDF.
